Galeri Wong Kito also produces environmentally friendly bags made of jute and bark with South Sumatran motifs. Galeri Wong Kito considers their role to be

• increasing the Role of Local Farmers, especially Uncaria (a.k.a. Gambier) farmers.
• In addition, we are empowering women by creating job opportunities for unemployed homemakers and the surrounding community and developing new entrepreneurs.
• Community Education is also done through conducting training in schools, universities, and community institutions.
