The Samudera Pasai Kongdom founded by Meurah Silu or Sultan Malik Al Saleh, was the first islamic empire in Indonesia in the 13th to 16th centuries AD which was located on the north coast of Sumatera Island. For several centuries, Samudera Pasai has become the center of religious islamic leaders from various parts of the world.
