Gudeg Wijilan (Sweet Jackfruit Stew) Bu Lies was founded in 1993 and is located on Jalan Wijilan. It is a traditional restaurant that is also a pioneer in food canning. The restaurant also has several branches:

There are several products offered by Gudeg Wijilan Bu Lies, such as the Gudeg Wijilan Bu Lies Boxed Meal (gudeg or catering) as well as gudeg wijilan in bamboo boxes or clay pots, and the latest product, the canned gudeg that has 1-year shelf-life.
Gudeg Bu Lies has also been certified by the Ministry of Health, BPPOM (The National Food and Drug Agency), and KAN (National Accreditation Agency), and have received the Halal Certificate from the MUI (Indonesian Ulemas Council), as well as the HO Permit (Hinder Ordonnantie/Nuisance Permit).
