Indonesia Sharia Economic Festival

"Akselerasi Pertumbuhan Ekonomi dan
Keuangan Syariah Regional Berkelanjutan melalui
Sinergi dan Transformasi Digital"

Accelerating Sustainable Regional Sharia Economic and Financial Growth through Synergy and Digital Transformation

Originating as an alternative instrument for the equitable distribution of prosperity, the sharia economy and finance has transformed into one of the drivers of Indonesia’s economic growth. As the country with the largest Muslim population in the world, Indonesia is known globally as a ‘sleeping giant’ holding vast potential and opportunity to become a major player in the world economy, particularly in the sharia economic and financial sector. Recognizing that potential, Bank Indonesia as the central bank has worked to make a tangible contribution to the development of the sharia economy and finance in Indonesia, among others through hosting the Indonesia Sharia Economic Festival (ISEF) since 2014.

Vision

Mainstreaming the sharia economy and finance in national and global policy.

Mission

ISEF’s mission is to integrate and turn ideas into measurable initiatives that bring a positive impact on national and international economic progress, through the development of the sharia economy and finance in line with sharia principles and Indonesia’s local values.
