A business initiated by the Sari Pertiwi Bukit Selat farmer group since 2016. Rumah Bawang Songan (RBS) has become a strategic partner in the development of food security clusters, especially shallots, between the Bangli Regional Government and Bank Indonesia kpw Bali. RBS was created as a place to learn and share information about shallots from upstream (farm) to downstream (processed products) in accordance with the local wisdom of the people in the Lake Batur area, improving farmers’ welfare and preserving environmentally friendly shallots. In addition to focusing on planting/cultivating shallots, we are also trying to create several derivative products from shallots as souvenirs from Kintamani, such as Basokin Chips, premium fried shallots and other preparations.”
