Tenun Garut Hendar is a craft that is engaged in a fashion that focuses on silk fabrics and is based on handicrafts from generation to generation. In the past, a brief history of Garut Hendar weaving, most of the population here (Sukajaya Village) are farmers, and now they only work on the side. In 2009 there were only two groups of weaving craftsmen in Panawuan Village, consisting of 6 people from 2 artisans.
